Things to do in AnguillaThe beaches of Anguilla are dazzlingly beautiful and visitors may find they have miles of silver, sandy beach all to themselves. The sea around Anguilla is crystal clear and even the snowy white terns flying over the water have brilliant, aquarmarine breast-a reflection of the shimmering, turquoise ocean. Beautiful, sleek Anguillian racing boats and sturdy fishing boats, their hulls painted with pride and care, adorn many of the beaches or can be seen flying towards the shore like giant butterflies with their unique, dipping sails seeming to dive into the water ahead. In Anguilla the beach is for those who enjoy the simple life- a magnificent sea, bright sunshine, a picnic of fresh lobster, a loaf of crusty bread from a rock oven, a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine. The beachcomber can wander for miles along empty strand, dipping into the warm sea from time to time-perhaps with a snorkel and mask to view the other beautiful world of underwater Anguilla. The only difficulty is one of choice-which beach visit? One would need weeks to see and know them all. Many of the beaches are easily accessible by road and parking at the hotels.
